I’m a beginner. Is this workshop right for me?

What if I’m worried this won’t translate into actual bookings?

This workshop is designed for photographers who are ready to transition into luxury work—not complete beginners with no wedding experience. If you’ve already shot quite a bit, understand your camera well, and are serious about moving upmarket, this is your day. If you’re still learning the absolute basics (manual mode, exposure, focusing), we’d recommend building those foundations first through our beginner mentoring program. That said, if you’re a confident beginner with solid technical skills and genuine hunger to understand the luxury market, reach out. We’ll talk through where you are and whether this is the right fit for your journey.

We intentionally structure this as a full day because the transformation happens through continuity—from morning technical work through to afternoon positioning and business strategy. A half-day experience fragments the learning. That said, if you have a genuine scheduling conflict, reach out directly. We occasionally work with photographers on customised options, but the full-day experience is where the real magic happens.

Will I actually get portfolio images I can use?

How small is Each group?

Yes. You’ll shoot at Hedsor House in real wedding locations with professional styling and models. The images you create are yours to use in your portfolio, on your website, and in your marketing.

Many photographers leave with hundreds of portfolio-ready images they immediately add to their collections. This isn’t a “practice day”—it’s a real shoot that produces real assets for your business.

We cap each educator's group at 6 photographers maximum. This ensures every person gets meaningful attention from educators, real-time feedback on their work, and genuine community connection. You’re not sitting in an auditorium. You’re in an intimate learning environment where your questions actually get answered.

What’s included in the £850 ticket price?

Your ticket includes: full-day education with experienced educators, access to Hedsor House’s premium wedding locations, professional models and styling, lunch, and the ability to create portfolio images you are free to use. 

What’s not included: travel to Hedsor House or accommodation (though we can provide recommendations).
